Cspect BV

About us.

Cspect is an engineering company based in the port of Ostend that utilizes ‘Remote Inspection Techniques’ to inspect your assets. We eliminate the need for divers for underwater inspections and remove the necessity of scaffolding, cranes, ladders, drones, rope access, or aerial work platforms for height inspections.

To conduct these ‘Remote Inspections,’ we use remotely operated underwater robots and our revolutionary ‘ALTUM telescopic pole.’

For height inspections, we have developed the innovative ALTUM telescopic pole. With the ALTUM, UTM measurements (wall thickness measurements) can be performed up to a height of 20 meters, and visual inspections can be conducted up to an impressive 24 meters! This approach marks a significant shift in the execution of UTM and visual inspections, as the cost of the service is significantly reduced.

Typical applications include the visual inspection of pipe racks, storage tanks, infrastructure, and wall thickness measurements on storage tanks and silos.

For underwater inspections, we use underwater robots capable of performing visual inspections, sonar inspections, high-pressure cleaning, water quality measurements, and steel thickness measurements at depths of up to 200 meters.

This method significantly reduces the high risks associated with traditional diver inspections. Moreover, the inspection cost remains highly competitive since we can safely conduct underwater inspections with just one or two inspectors.

Typical applications include the inspection of wind turbines, quays, pipelines, locks, sheet piles, ships, pillars, and other underwater structures.
