My official title is HSEC Lead for HG Storage (a JV within Glencore). Here we have Health Safety Environment and Community within our title.
In my role, I am responsible for leading HSEC strategy and direction for 8 global tank storage facilities, including road tanker loading for liquid fuels and jetty loading / offloading operations, and leading HSEC for over 600 staff. I report to the CEO of HG Storage, and work with a suite of leaders to drive a progressive HSEC culture and agenda.
Prior to working for HG Storage and Glencore, I worked for BP for 22 years, always in HSE, across operations in UK North Sea & Norway , onshore and offshore. I worked in major projects for the last 8 years of that time, from offshore Angola, to onshore Egypt and North Sea, working with process and personal safety remits.
