Nordweld Tank Building System was was used to build two storage tanks for a famous Brazilian orange juice producer “Citrosuco”.
Both tanks are 21 meters in diameter and 30 meters high, with total weight of 210 000 kg each. They can store 10,000 m3 of orange juice each.
Technical details:
– Erection time: 8 weeks
– Base material: LDX 2101 stainless steel
– Internal surface: grinded to max. RA 0,8
– The shell was made from material fed from coil, <7mm, and flat plates 2x12m, 6mm
- Thickness : from 6 to 13 mm
- Lift Jacks were equipped with wheel trolley
