CLH is a logistics company transporting and storing oil and chemical products in 8 different countries.<\/p><p>Jorge graduated as an Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and has a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University (USA). He is married to Chelo and has three children. He has a deep knowledge of the oil and energy industry acquired through different roles over 22 years across the whole Petroleum Business Value Chain: Refining, Trading, Supply and Sales &amp; Marketing. He joined CLH in Feb-2016 after an extensive career in BP. Jorge has a career trajectory comprising a balanced portfolio of experiences ranging from operational, management, strategy and corporate roles acquired in five different countries. You mentioned the use of sustainable energy for pumps. Is Exolum thinking of using sustainable local energy surplusses for local energy (H2-) production as well?<\/strong><\/p><p>It really depends on the geography. In Spain, we are only generating for our own use as the regulation is complex and permitting lengthy to be able to sell surpluses. In the UK, we will be using surpluses for other uses (our own and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> parties)<\/p><p><strong>What changes in the IT landscape are necessary for the Terminal of Tomorrow?<\/strong><\/p><p>I think new technologies bring many opportunities. A few examples:<\/p><ul><li>Use big data and IoT to improve predictive maintenance and optimize maintenance spend in general<\/li><li>Use digital apps to improve and automate customer interaction (eg. Digital forms, order taking, truck loading, \u2026<\/li><li>Use AI algorithms to optimize energy consumptions, logistic flows optimization, better demand forecasts<\/li><li>Automatic Image treatment to detect leaks, terminal intrusion, \u2026<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Any plan for set up LPG \/ LNG Terminal?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p><p>No<\/p><p><strong>Good morning and thanks for the presso. For existing tanks of fossil fuel products to shift to clean energy storage, are the storage assets easily reusable\/ reconfigured?<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Or the capex required for that may be too big, and may be better to build a greenfield terminal?<\/strong><\/p><p>Really depends on the existing tank configuration (not the same a big 125Km3 crude tank than small ones) and what you want to use it for. Directionally, we are moving towards a need for smaller, more tailored made tanks. For that, rather than building greenfield terminals, it\u2019s more efficient to scrap old tanks and build new ones in existing terminals taking advantagae of all the other terminal ancillary infrastructures<\/p><p><strong>Good morning Jorge, what do you mean by Infra carve-outs?<\/strong><\/p><p>A trend that is emerging as some petrochemical companies are selling their tank farms, marine jetties, etc (logistics) and leasing them back to generate cash to invest in their core business.<\/p><p><strong>How important is the availability of data for the terminal of the future? And how is Exolum handling the availability of data?<\/strong><\/p><p>Answered above. I believe the use of data is already very important and a source of business improvement.<\/p><p><strong>What do you think are the key success factors of the terminal of tomorrow?<\/strong><\/p><p>Very similar to today\u2019s but the bar keeps rising:<\/p><ul><li>Efficiency<\/li><li>Adaptability to customer demands<\/li><li>Raise the bar continuously on how we conduct
