What is the cost of a typical installation?<\/strong><\/p>

Implementation costs are rather small, main workload is integration to your or your partner systems, making use of well documented standard REST API Connectors. Integration with core systems will be available on a fixed price basis for Implico products and time & material for 3rd party software. Integration projects can also be conducted by any other vendor as integration details are publicly available.<\/p>

If your legacy systems connect via our well documented standard REST-API, no further implementation is required on our side.<\/p>

SCU pilot implementations will be handled as commercially attractive co-innovation agreement\u200b. They will be offered on a small, fixed price basis for integration of Implico core products and time & material for integration with 3rd party products. Implementation is per definition possible for any integration consulting vendor.\u200b<\/p>

The utilization of SCU microservices will be based on service subscription, generally consisting of periodical membership, transaction and probably user fee. If used as a shared cloud service on SCU platform hosting, maintenance and support is covered by subscription fee.<\/p>

How to customize?<\/strong><\/p>

In general, SCU\u2019s objective is to provide standard services without customer specific adjustments for the sake of improved reliability and more competitive price. Nevertheless, we will constantly improve \/ extend this standard as per customer requirements, if we can agree these being compliant with general industry needs. Technology wise customer specific requirements can be added, in case needed, further details will be evaluated in case specific discussions, based on service subscription, generally consisting of periodical membership, transaction and probably user fee.<\/p>

It was mentioned that no IT infrastructure is needed. How is the connectivity from the Cloud into the gantry systems managed? I.e., from QINO vNext to PCD? And is there a device needed in case of network outage during loading?<\/strong><\/p>

By definition cloud solutions do face a challenge if it comes to (real-time) integration with the large variety of level 2 equipment, often requiring serial integration and answer-times in milliseconds. A pure iOT approach with direct access by a cloud solution would from our point of view not fulfil existing technical requirements on reaction time and company requirements on data safety ( = the clear separation of business & industry network).<\/p>

Therefore, we offer the encapsulation of process automation (e.g. driver operated loading) and level 2 integration within our \u2018automation box\u2019. This automation box can be implemented on a windows server within the industry network to ensure a standardized communication to the connected TMS level via standard Rest API (supporting by this also communication via a DMZ), it complements SCU QINO vNext implementations for process automation & equipment integration.<\/p>

Yes, it can be integrated with any ERP or order management system being able to serve the defined standard REST API integration. In general: SCU services will allow seamless integration with any legacy system, given their general ability to communicate. As SCU functionality is designed to support specifically B2B integration topics, businesses will benefit by achieving state of the art process integration with their partners without need to replace their legacy systems.\u200b<\/p>

Can the services be combined with other online platforms, e.g., OnlineFuels is already used by several retailers?<\/strong><\/p>

SCU\u2019s open architecture and integration concept allows 3rd party to place and integrate cross-industry and third-party solutions into industry specific workflows. Furthermore, it allows \u200b the integration of SCU micro-services into 3rd party solutions and therefore allows 3rd party to focus on their unique selling points instead of redundantly develop solutions already established in the market\u200b.<\/p>

The implementation time of SCU components differs as per their specific solution scope and is additionally dependent to the complexity of their integration to a customer\u2019s end-to-end business process. In general, the implementation time will be significantly shorter than it is currently for a comparable proprietary setup due to SCU components standard integration approach.<\/p>

In general, in case of services connecting different supply chain partners, cost share can be offered as well. We believe that this question is referring to SCU Online Check-In in specific. The main contractor for Online Check-In will be always the terminal operator as the terminal is the core provider of such service to their customers, drivers, hauliers. It therefore needs to be agreed with the terminal operator whether they want to be the only commercial counterpart to Implico for this service and this service is offered to their customers for free or if Implico shall offer this service as per subscription fee to all participants.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
