Leakwise is a line of oil sheen detection and monitoring systems mounted on floating devices that use high-frequency electromagnetic energy absorption technology. The liquid surface is continuously observed by a receiving antenna and a high-frequency transmitter. Changes in the absorption rate of electromagnetic energy are more noticeable in water than in hydrocarbons.
