'Drytyt' Dry Disconnect Couplings
Drytyt is Fort Vale’s range of dry disconnect couplings. These provide a quick and safe bulk liquid transfer system when cargo spillage cannot be tolerated. Our couplings are manufactured to industry standards and are compatible and interchangeable with other brands. Standard sizes are 56mm, 70mm, 105mm, 119mm and 164mm and standard connections are threaded and flanged. For extra security, we can add selectivity pins, colour coding and your own company logo. We can manufacture Drytyt couplings in exotic metals. We also make pressure-tight caps to fit all tank unit sizes.

Virtual reality meets industrial inspection: with Terra Inspectioneering's 3D modelling technology, inspection data is plotted on a virtual model so it is easy to position inspection data.

3DRM CLARITY
Clarity represents a transformative leap in digitalisation, marking a significant advancement in the management of assets, particularly for operators in the tank storage sector. This innovative platform addresses the longstanding challenges of fragmented information systems by offering a unified, comprehensive view of all relevant data, thereby streamlining operations and enhancing decision-making processes. The key features of Clarity include: 1. 3D Reality Model (3DRM): A photorealistic digital twin of the entire facility, offering detailed visualisations of components for enhanced operational insight. 2. Clarity Capture App: A mobile application utilising advanced AI to update the 3DRM, ensuring the digital twin remains current. 3. Contextualised Asset Data: Linking detailed specifications, documents, and procedures to assets for intuitive information access. 4. Smart P&ID: Integration of P&IDs with the 3DRM for efficient component location and identification. 5. Smart Workflows: Tagging of operational and maintenance activities in the 3D model, standardising procedures, and integrating permit and isolation management. 6. Connected Workforce: An Augmented Reality (AR) enabled mobile app that visualises equipment data and workflows in an AR context, facilitating immersive interaction. The benefits Clarity brings to the tank storage sector are multifaceted, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. It ensures business continuity by centralising and contextualising relevant information in 3D, allowing for quicker, more informed decisions. It also improves safety with virtual inspections, and transforms tacit knowledge into explicit, aiding in proactive maintenance to minimise downtime. By streamlining data access and enabling real-time, error-free updates, Clarity reduces costs and enhances collaboration for crisis management. It also decreases work errors and enhances safety standards, benefiting all, especially new staff.

40-36 Rate of Flow Control Valve
The Cla-Val model 40-36 rate of Flow and Fuel Shut Off Check Valve is a hydraulically operated, pilot controlled, diaphragm actuated control valve that limits flow to a preselected maximum rate, regardless of changing line pressure. The pilot control responds to the differential pressure produced across an orifice plate installed downstream of the valve. Accurate control is assured as very small changes in the controlling differential pressure produce immediate corrective action of the main valve. The orifice bore is factory sized based on flow rate to ensure proper control valve performance. Flow rate adjustments can be made by turning an adjusting screw on the pilot control. The fuel shut off feature closes the main valve when remote pressure from a Cla-Val Model CFF18T-H2 or CFF21-H2 flanged float control is admitted into the cover of an auxiliary Hytrol. The integrated chack feature protects upstream equipment like filter separators by admitting downstream pressure into the main valve cover chamber, closing the main valve upon pressure reversal.

500 serial oval gears flowmeters
The oval gear flowmeter is a precise positive displacement meter incorporating a pair of oval geared rotors. These meters are capable of measuring the flow of a broad of clean liquids. The unit is made in stainless steel rendering it suited for most water based products, chemicals and lubricating liquids. This meter is available as a blind pulse meter with non-factored pulse output capable of interfacing to most monitoring and control instrumentation

682 series piston PD flowmeter
The TCS 682 reciprocating piston flow meter is a true positive displacement meter that has a unique inline design consisting of three reciprocating pistons operating within their respective measuring chambers. Each piston works in a manner similar to an automobile engine. The pistons are fitted to a wobble plate, which has a shaft extending from its upper surface and a valve pivot attached beneath it. The valve pivot drives a sliding valve from piston to piston as a known amount of product flows through each cylindrical bore, controlling the sequence of events in a smooth mechanical motion. This smooth mechanical motion is then transferred through the drive shaft to the register. The TCS 682 reciprocating piston flow meter combines outstanding accuracy (0.1% of flow rate) with one of the widest turndown ratios in the industry (250:1). The TCS 682 reciprocating piston flow meter has a rugged industrial design that is tolerant to changing viscosities, temperatures and liquids with suspensions and solids. This proven design has over 80 years of unmatched performance and continues to provide the very best in flow measurement, backed by our industry leading 10 year warranty (5 year warranty LPG).

700 series rotary PD flowmeters
The TCS 700 series rotary flow meter has a simple and efficient meter design consisting of a housing and three rotors that rotate in unison within the measuring chamber. The absence of wear, from no metal-to-metal contact within the chamber, eliminates any deterioration in accuracy and provides a long service life. The rotors are supported by bearings inserted into two bearing plates, where at the end of each rotor shaft is a timing gear. The timed rotation between each rotor is then transferred through the calibration adjuster to the register, giving a consistent and superior measurement of accuracy.

933-S In-line Deflagration / Detonation Flame Arresters
Flame arresters are used as secondary protection against explosions by preventing the transmission of flame and explosion transfer in machines, equipment and plant, containing inflammable gas or steam-air mixtures of inflammable liquids. These autonomous safety systems limit the effects of the explosions, rendering them harmless, they are intended to allow flow but prevent flame transmission. BS&B FlameSaf arrester products use the technical principle of a ‘quenching gap’. Precision coiled arrester elements are manufactured to allow normal flow to occur and to present a barrier to flame propagation. The quenching gap selected for the combustion condition of each application is too small for flame to pass and burning is ‘arrested’. Precision coiled arrester elements offer superior safety as compared to mesh type arresters which offer less stability of quenching gap. The BS&B FlameSaf product line includes arrester technology suited to safe management of deflagration and detonation risks in piping systems and equipment. End-of-line and inline devices are available along with P/V vents that offer integral arresters.
