Ellen Ruhotas works globally, with leading infrastructure funds, private equity investors, pension funds, terminal operators and terminal customers advising on their strategic involvement, investments and management of storage terminal assets. She has over 30 years of experience in Engineering, Safety, Operations, Commercial and General Management of Bulk Liquid Storage facilities.
Ms Ruhotas has both Board and Operational level experience in the terminals sector including expertise in all aspects of Terminal Operations for a full range of products as well as in-depth engineering design, construction and project management of all aspects of chemical, LPG and petroleum storage systems.
Previously, Ellen was the Managing Director for Zenith Energy in Europe, Regional Director for Stolthaven Terminals in Asia-Pacific and General Manager Stolthaven China (Stolt Nielsen group). Prior to Stolt, Ellen was General Manager with Pacific Terminals Australia and China, Operations Manager with Email Limited (Petroleum Division) and Engineering Services Manager with BP Australia Limited. Ms. Ruhotas received a Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical/Industrial graduating with First Class Honours. She also received an MBA and Bachelor of Laws also graduating with First Class Honours and is a qualified International Commercial Arbitrator.
