Oiltanking and Mabanaft hit by cyberattack

Oiltanking and Mabanaft in Germany, both subsidiaries of Marquard and Bahls, have announced they have been hit by a cyberattack affecting their IT systems.

Terminals in Germany are operated by Oiltanking Deutschland, an operation unit of Mabanaft, and are currently operating with limited capacity and have declared force majeure. Terminals operated by the main Oiltanking Group globally continue to operate. Mabanaft Deutschland has also declared force majeure for most of its inland supply activities in Germany. The companies are working to restore normal operations.
