Svanehøj to supply pumps for the third northern lights LCO2 carrier

Supplier of CO2 pumps, Svanehøj has announced that the world’s three largest dedicated CO2 ships are now on its reference list.

Northern Lights (a joint-venture of Shell, Equinor, and TotalEnergies) is increasing its CO2 shipping capacity with its third LCO2 carrier and has chosen Svanehøj to supply the cargo pump system.

The three ships are the world’s largest of their kind, and the order represents a significant milestone for our ambitions in carbon capture and storage.
