OQ & Vopak To Accelerate Development at Duqm

OQ and Royal Vopak have signed an exclusive partnership framework agreement to collaborate on the development of terminal and energy infrastructure within the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD).

This agreement marks a key milestone in a strategic alliance focused on accelerating growth in industrial and sustainable energy infrastructure across the region. By combining OQ’s local market presence with Vopak’s global expertise in developing and operating large-scale storage facilities, the partnership aims to support the energy transition and expand Duqm’s role as a regional logistics and energy hub.

The collaboration is expected to stimulate economic development, attract international investors, generate employment, and provide critical infrastructure solutions for upcoming industrial projects requiring storage and handling services in SEZAD.
