Air Liquide Commits €500M+ to Green Hydrogen in Rotterdam  

Air Liquide has given the green light to build a 200 MW electrolyser in Maasvlakte, using North Sea wind to produce 23,000 tonnes of renewable hydrogen annually. 

The result? A projected 300,000-tonne CO₂ reduction per year, a major boost to decarbonising industry and heavy transport in the Port of Rotterdam. 

It’s the second large-scale electrolyser approved at this future hydrogen hub, backed by EU and Dutch government support.
