New Long-Term LNG Supply Agreement Strengthens UK–US Energy Ties

Centrica Energy has signed a 10-year natural gas sale and purchase agreement with Devon Energy, securing 50,000 MMBtu/day starting in 2028, equivalent to five LNG cargoes annually.

The volumes will be indexed to the European TTF gas hub price, aligning Centrica’s LNG portfolio more closely with European markets. The deal also marks another milestone in strengthening UK–US energy trade and highlights the growing role of natural gas as a key transition fuel.

Operations will be managed by Centrica’s US trading team, following the recent opening of its New York office.
