Terminal news from Spain

Vopak Terquimsa has sold its Barcelona terminal to Tradebe Port Services. While the site handled petroleum products, chemicals, and vegetable oils, it’s no longer considered a strategic fit for Vopak.

Vopak remains invested in the region, continuing its 50% stake in the Tarragona terminal, located in one of Spain’s key industrial hubs.

This move reflects ongoing portfolio optimisation across the terminal sector, with a continued focus on strategic positioning and long-term value.
