ENGIE and Gulf have entered into a long-term liquefied natural gas sales and purchase agreement spanning 15 years, marking a significant step toward reinforcing Thailand’s future energy security. Under the contract, ENGIE will deliver around 0.8 million tonnes of LNG per year to Gulf, one of the country’s leading privately owned energy groups.
Supply will be provided on an ex-ship basis, with cargo deliveries expected to begin in 2028. By broadening the mix of natural gas supply sources, the agreement aligns with Thailand’s national gas strategy, helping to improve price stability, ensure reliable availability, and strengthen the resilience of the country’s energy system.
