What are you most looking forward to at StocExpo 2026?

I am looking forward to meeting existing customers and getting to know new prospects and opportunities. This exhibition is all about maintaining and creating new relationships and gaining more insights into the markets. This year we will use the Stocexpo to launch our new affordable compact size MultiLoad II+ LITE batch controller.

What’s an industry trend or innovation that you’re excited about?

AI and digitalization are no longer “nice to have” in the oil industry—they’re becoming the core operating model. Across the 2026 reports and insights, the same themes appear repeatedly: efficiency, predictive intelligence, cost savings, and emissions reduction. AI and machine learning are being deployed across the value chain to optimize decisions, increase uptime, and reduce maintenance costs.

If you could fly to any country tomorrow, where would you go and why?

If I could choose, I would say New Zealand. It has beautiful landscapes, volcanic valleys, and crystal lakes. It is perfect for hiking and road trips, and it has a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

What’s one thing you’re really passionate about outside of work?

Outside of work, I really enjoy my family time. Spending time with the family during the weekends, going out shopping, citytrips and having nice dinners together. This helps me stay balanced from a busy workweek.

If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?

A Neurosurgeon, during a complex operation. To understand the focus, preparation, and responsibility of someone, literally saving a life with their hands.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Focus on solving the right problem, not just working harder. You can be incredibly busy with back‑to‑back meetings, tons of emails, late nights—but if those actions aren’t aimed at the real issue, the results stay flat. Great leaders and great salespeople pause and ask: “What problem am I actually trying to fix?“ Once you identify the real challenge whether it’s a flawed process, unclear positioning, or targeting the wrong customers, every action becomes more impactful. Suddenly, working smarter actually means something.
