Vitol secures THREE new LNG bunkering vessels

Vitol, through its shipping company Vitol International Shipping Pte Ltd (VIS), has secured three LNG Bunkering Vessels (LNGBV). This acquisition was made possible through a 7-20 year time charter agreement with Avenir LNG Ltd (Avenir) and an order for two vessels from the CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co. Ltd shipyard in Nantong, China.

LNG offers shipowners a cost-effective way to significantly reduce their environmental impact. When combined with bio-LNG blending, it provides a sustainable, long-term solution to meet increasingly stringent emission regulations, ensuring compliance and promoting greener shipping practices.
