- graduated in Technical Semiconductor Physics in 1985.
- is involved in Integrity Management since 1986, when he started as an NDT specialist for Akzo Nobel within its department for global support on Maintenance and Corrosion Services. Within Akzo Nobel he had various jobs at various locations, from Material Technical Program manager for the Salt Factories to Head of Maintenance Engineering Dept. at the Rotterdam Botlek site to Maintenance consultant at Akzo Nobel Engineering in Arnhem.
- after this employment in the Chemical Industry, he worked from 2001 to 2006 within TNO Building and constructions, dept. Civil Infrastructure in Delft, where he focused onto rational monitoring, performance contracts and Civil Asset Management.
- in 2006 he went to Stork as an Integrity Consultant, where he worked for various branches varying from the Oil and Gas sector to the food sector, chemical industry and the Civil sector by involvement in tunnel construction. He has specialized here in risk based asset management, with focus on the subjects Compliance, Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and Long Term Asset Replacement (investment) Planning (LTARP).
- currently he works as a principal consultant within Stork Asset Management Technology, which is a group of 70 consultants that work for various industries throughout the world, with main locations in Utrecht (NL) and Antwerp (BE).
