Tanks were constructed in stainless steel 304L and duplex steel LDX2101. The lower part of the body is of LDX2101, which has improved properties compared to stainless steel 304L and allows a thinner structure while retaining the structural strength. The tank floor, top and upper part of the body are made of stainless steel 304L.
To give a glimpse into the transportation process of those giant tanks we created drone footage when they left the XL production site.
