About us

Since 1998, BIOEX has been designing and manufacturing high-performance firefighting foam concentrates, both conventional and ecological, suitable for solid fires, hydrocarbon liquid fires and polar solvent fires.

BIOEX’s specialty: next-generation ecological foam concentrates, 100% fluorine-free, which allow environmental protection without compromising efficiency. Our foams comply with the highest international standards: EN1568, UL162, ICAO, APSAD, MILSPEC, and more.

Based in Sainte-Consorce, near Lyon, France, BIOEX employs over 20 people and is part of the LEADER Group, a global player in firefighting and rescue equipment. Through a worldwide network of distributors, BIOEX foams are used across the globe for operational interventions and training exercises.
A pioneer in ecological foams, BIOEX launched ECOPOL in 2002, the first fluorine-free foam on the market, and continues to innovate to encourage professionals to adopt environmentally friendly solutions.
