Since 1983, Cygnus Instruments (Stand No G6) has been the leading manufacturer of Digital Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges (UTG) for reliable corrosion inspection and asset integrity management. Fit for all skill levels, the UTG range offers multi-mode gauges for surface and subsea inspection, with A-Scan, B-Scan, data-logging and hands-free capability, ideal for through-coat measurement and heavily corroded metal inspection.
Our most unique gauge is undoubtedly the Cygnus 1 Ex - the world’s only Zone-0 thickness gauge. This Ex gauge is certified intrinsically-safe for all Hazardous Gas Zones 0, 1, and 2 - eliminating the need for hot work permits.
Also available is the Cygnus Hatch Sure ultrasonic leak detector, designed to perform a quick and effective test on watertight seals without having to empty the storage tank. It provides you with pinpoint accuracy, giving the exact location and the extent of leakage.
