ETS Degassing GmbH provides advanced mobile solutions for safe, clean and efficient emission treatment. Our fully equipped, remotely operated vapor combustion units enable sustainable degassing of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), with destruction efficiencies exceeding 99.99% for all relevant explosion groups (IIA, IIB, IIC).
Our scalable combustion systems range from 0.1 to 50 MW and have been deployed in more than 3,000 projects worldwide. ATEX Zone 0 Roboter
At ETS Degassing, the safety of personnel and the protection of the environment are always central to our work. To further strengthen safe industrial operations, we offer another innovative solution: the ATEX Zone 0 tank-cleaning robot for hazardous confined spaces. This high-performance system is remotely operated, allowing tank cleaning to be carried out from a safe distance. With this approach, no one needs to enter ATEX Zone 0 environments, where even with full protective equipment significant health and safety risks remain. The ATEX Zone 0 robot delivers continuous, precise and reliable cleaning performance around the clock. It works quickly, does not fatigue and maintains consistent quality 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Traditionally, manual tank cleaning required four shifts of three operators each, equipped with costly PPE and exposed to serious hazards. With the ATEX Zone 0 robotic solution, this risk is eliminated. The result is safer operations, reduced shutdown duration, greater efficiency and fully compliant tank-cleaning processes without exposing personnel to dangerous atmospheres.

The process operates without an open flame, odour or visible emissions. Thanks to our compact design and operating concept, we can determine CO₂ impact directly on site, a capability that sets us apart from conventional technologies and makes us a one-of-a-kind provider in Europe. In 2008, we developed the global industry’s first mobile combustion unit, enabling mobile degassing for the very first time. Since then, innovation has remained at the core of our mission. Flying Combustor 4 MW - plug & play
We design, manufacture and operate our own mobile combustion units for industrial degassing. These high-performance thermal oxidation systems can be deployed for individual applications, as temporary replacement units for VRUs, flares and vapour recovery systems, or as an interim solution during maintenance and turnaround activities. They also ensure fast response capability for unplanned incidents and emergency situations. Our technology provides a key advantage: while adsorption and absorption systems cannot directly measure or determine CO₂ impact, ETS Degassing units allow transparent tracking and documentation of carbon emissions. This ensures maximum environmental accountability and compliance. Operation of the system is carried out exclusively by our trained field operators, allowing customers to focus on their core processes without additional workload. No liquid or solid waste is generated during degassing, making the solution clean, controlled and safe. We deliver qualified personnel, a transparent operating process and the highest quality standards in the market, saving our clients both time and costs. For short-term as well as long-term projects, our mobile units are available for rental. On request, they can be supplied as an “all-in-one” package including auxiliary equipment such as power generators, support gas supply, hoses and connection piping.
