Robotic Tank cleaning solution - Lombrico S EX-0 for ATEX and IECEx zone 0
Lombrico and Associated Equipment is a complete system composed of a IECEx and ATEX Zone 0 certified robot, an ATEX Zone 1 control unit and a power unit, which can be combined together depending on the customer’s needs. The full equipment can be stored in two 10ft certified marine containers or all in one 20ft certified marine container (both solution are certified for ATEX and IECEx Zone 1). Lombrico is a tracked robot, designed to be connected to the suction hose of a suction machine to clean storage tanks. It can be customized with tools and water nozzles; it is remotely controlled and monitored via ATEX and IECEx Zone 0 certified cameras mounted onboard.
Robotic solution for Fuel tank cleaning - Lombrico FTC
Lombrico X Fuel Tank Cleaning is an ATEX Zone O certified system developed for cleaning underground and above ground horizontal tanks using its four main functions: 1. chemical product spraying. 2. High pressure washing. 3. Sludge removal. 4. Video inspection. The robot is composed of a stainless-steel structure equipped with hydraulic and antistatic components as well as a foldable arm equipped with rotating high pressure water nozzles for cleaning the internal surfaces of horizontal tanks. The sludge on the bottom of the tank is then removed through the suction hose on the lower part of the machine, which has to be connected to the suction hose of a vacuum truck or a pump.
Underwater robot - Mini Bull
Mini Bull is the smallest underwater robot created by Gerotto. It is composed of a centrifugal pump for removing debris from the bottom of tanks and basins, mounted on a tracked undercarriage, to easily move on the surface and overstep small obstacles. The rotating frontal brush conveys the debris towards the suction nozzle of the robot and remove mud and debris.
Underwater solution - The Bull
The Bull is an underwater ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) suitable for cleaning water drain pipes, in-service cooling towers basins, waste water treatment plants etc. Thanks to the special dredging pump mounted onboard, it sucks up debris settled on the flat bottoms of underwater environments and can even work submerged in abrasive fluids. The Bull is remote controlled so the operator can monitor operations from a safe distance.
LOBE BULL
The Lobe Bull is the innovative patent pending remotely operated vehicle engineered and manufactured by Gerotto. The Lobe Bull is ideal for removing sludges from contaminated areas, reaching up to 20 [m] of depth. Thanks to its lobe pump mounted on board, this cutting-edge and stand-alone robot can easily remove sludge in jobsite where other type of suction units or vacuum trucks will not be effective.
GATTO - mini digger
Gatto is an innovative and versatile excavator suitable for both construction and remediation activities. The machine shows its best skills working in confined spaces and areas suspected of pollution and contamination. Gatto can be equipped with a hose passing between the two tracks for the suction of the material while connected to any vacuum unit (vacuum trucks, suction excavators, etc.).
ATEX and IECEx ZONE 0 Tank cleaning robot - LOMBRICO S EX-0
ATEX and IECEx Zone 0 certified robot designed specifically for cleaning tanks. Fully hydraulic and remotely controlled, it can enter in a 600 [mm] diameter manhole.
ATEX ZONE 1 robot for sludge removing - LOMBRICO SP
The patented robot was developed to remove sludge through an 80 [mm] / 3” diameter hose without the need for a vacuum truck. Thanks to the on-board screw pump, the Lombrico SP continuously pumps material at 10 [m3/h]. The material is conveyed to the flexible suction hose through a frontal patented pending tool. Moreover, frontal water jets are added, ensuring that even the most viscous material is easily pumped.
ATEX and IECEx ZONE 0 Tank cleaning robot - LOMBRICO XXS EX-0
Compact mini robot for operations in ATEX and IECEx zone 0. Thanks to the possibility of entering a 500 [mm]/20” manhole, it is ideal for pipelines and tanks.
