About us
Italian metering company Isoil Impianti S.p.a. Is present in the Oil and Gas business since 1958. Isoil is always in the front line offering solutions whenever it is necessary to know “how much” fuel is moving.
Isoil Impianti s.p.a. is a medium size company located in one of the most industrialized areas in Europe, the heart of Italian economy. It appears in vendor lists of Major Oil Companies and it is a reliable partner of Engineering Companies all over the world.
The core business of Isoil Impianti S.p.a. is the manufacturing of measuring groups based on the use of PD meter and both electronic Flow computers or mechanical registers as well as accessories for the automation of loading, unloading or transfer of fuels i.e. valves, filters, air eliminators, electronic grounding monitors, badge readers and large figure displays.
The PD meter technology is extremely reliable and consolidated, and it remains the most accurate mean of measuring the flow of petroleum products. On the other hand, electronic Machine Man Interfaces have dramatically evolved in a quite shorter elapse.
The third generation of VEGA electronic flow computers, i.e. VEGA 3, concentrates 30 years of experience in tank loading and projects itself into a future of new applications under new concepts of terminal management. VEGA 3 relies on new coding techniques and enhanced safety criteria while keeping an eye on Italian design, performant and beautiful at the same time.
After MT20 and MT30, the Grounding System is now in its third generation, too. The MT40 is ready to face new challenges not only in fixed installations but also on board of tankers.

MT40 Grounding System
During loading/unloading of fuels, chemicals, powders and granulates into tank trucks, railcars, IBCs and drums, dangerous events may arise in hazardous atmospheres. Even when filling and emptying FIBC Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (Big Bags) with nonconductive powders and granulates, it is necessary to prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charges which may be generated in the process. The new MT40 grounding system is designed to prevent accumulation of electrostatic charges: MT40 detects whether it is connected to the tank or to some different metal object thus preventing errors/misuse. The display shows the operating status and it stops operation if connection is interrupted. MT40 complies with the mandatory Directives and it is an approved Safety Device, with SIL2 level.
VEGA 3 Multi-streams Modular Flow Computer
VEGA3 is a batch controller device to be used in measuring systems for liquids other than water (MID MI-005) approved by the Notified Body LNE (France) with the Evaluation Certificate n. LNE-29970. VEGA3 is a flexible, modular and cost-effective system adaptable to different configurations and installation requirements: it can be used for tank-truck/ tanks-trains/ ships loading and unloading, pipelines, in line blending and additives injection and also for LPG liquid and vapour differential measurement.
VEGA T2 - The New Electronic Counter for Terminal Operations
VEGA T2 is the ultimate solution in terms of electronic preset register for the loading & unloading applications within the oil depots or for custody transfer lines. It can be matched with almost any type of flow meter and, by acquiring the information from optional temperature, pressure and density sensors it can provide a legally relevant measure of the quantity delivered. For this scope VEGA T2 carries an Evaluation Certificate according to OIML R117 (International Organisation of Legal Metrology). At the same time VEGA T2 takes care of the loading procedure, controlling the preset valve and monitoring the signals coming from the devices around it: safety of the operations is therefore granted. Thanks to its extended communication features (serial lines, Ethernet port, Bluetooth compatible peripheral and WiFi connection), VEGA T2 can communicate with the control room, share the delivery information and receive the instructions to operate from a SCADA or TAS. VEGA T2 can generate a printing report directly, with legally relevant functions, and store the data related to the transactions into its memory.
