About us
Silea was born in 1968, sensing the future development of the oil sector, both in the distribution and in the transfer of products.
Located in the district of Bologna, in Ozzano dell'Emilia, over the years, the company specialized in the transfer of hydrocarbons, producing loading and unloading arms, floating suctions, pumps, folding stairs for tank trucks, etc.
Today, thanks to over 50 years of experience, Silea has also expanded and developed its market in other sectors, such as food, chemical and bitumen; obviously, without losing sight of the most historic Oil & Gas sector, within which Silea remains a point of reference, for the quality of the products and the historicity of the brand.

API RP 1004 COUPLER (model 0513)
SILEA series 513 manual coupler is used in the petrochemical industry when a fast dry coupling is required, without product’s leakage between female coupler and male adaptor. It’s mainly used to connect a bottom loading arm or a hose to a tank truck equipped with a bottom loading adapter. The coupler is accordant to API RP 1004 spec and it can be used with every API RP adaptor. The SILEA 513 coupler grants the loading operation without spillage and totally safe condition to the operator. It complies with the European ATEX 94/9/CE and the PED 97/23/CE directives.
Semi automatic RP 1004 coupler (model 0513)
SILEA series 513 semi-automatic coupler is used in the petrochemical industry when a dry coupling is required. It is mainly used to connect a bottom loading arm or a hose to a tanker equipped with a bottom loading adapter manufactured according to API RP 1004 standard regulations. The SILEA 513 coupler grants the loading operation without spillage and totally safe conditions to the operator, It complies with the European ATEX 94/9/EC and the PED 97/23/EC Directives.

Skids
Silea metering skids are compact solutions, designed to meet all loading, unloading and additivation needs, in places with logistical difficulties or with temporary needs, for example construction sites. Depending on the requests, skids can be equipped with all the accessories that normally compose a loading station, but with small and functional dimensions for moving. They can be designed with one or more loading arms, bottom or top, as needed, with variable flow rates from 500 to 2000 l/min. Silea is able to support you in any kind of customization, to supply you, turnkey, your ideal skid.

NEW Semi-automatic API Coupler
The NEW Silea female semi-automatic Coupler series 05132105 is designed to achieve a quick and dry coupling, without loss of product, between a Bottom Loading Arm or a hose and the Male Coupler on a tank truck. The difference with the manual type is that the Coupler hooks automatically to the male coupler before opening the flow. The coupler respects the API RP 1004 standards and can be used with all compliant couplers. Compared to the current semi-automatic coupler it has: • A quick and safe coupling system with a larger contact surface of the teeth. • Fluid passage section increased by 15% (higher flow rate for a faster loading phase). • Usable even in the event of an increase in operating pressure. • Renewed ergonomics thanks to the new handle, now equipped with a grip. • Maintenance time reduced by up to 60%. • The possibility of replacing primary seals without disassembling the coupler from the arm.

PUMP UNITS
The series 1056 Pump Units are assembled with a 1052 (fuel or solvent) pumps and with an electric or diesel engine through a mechanical transmission, secured to a stand. The pump units can be used on plants, marine or avionics dispensers or on trailer.
Loading station for LNG and cryogenic fluids
The bottom loading station 1803 CRYO series is designed for the transfer of LNG and cryogenic fluids (ex: methane, hydrogen, nitrogen...), from cryogenic plants (skids) to cryogenic tank trucks. The station is made up of two arms with a wide range of action, to allow maximum coverage of the loading area. One arm is dedicated to the liquid phase and the other to the vapor phase. The high quality materials used for the insulation of the arms guarantees the safety of the operator during the transfer activity. All station components comply with cryogenic liquid design and transfer guidelines (OCIMF and UNI EN ISO ).

Avery Hardoll IPV valve
The IPV valve by Avery Hardoll, designed and manufactured by Silea, ensures precise control over the predetermined quantity and maintains a consistent fluid flow rate by modulating fluid passage during dispensing. By utilizing inlet pressure and managing the action of solenoid valves on dedicated circuits, it enables efficient flow regulation. The IPV valve is connected to a meter with an electronic register, which, through programming, calculates specific flow rate values based on dispensed volume and dispensing time.
