Terra Inspectioneering
About us
Terra Inspectioneering started as RoNik Inspectioneering at May 13th, 2016. Since then, Terra Inspectioneering is known for their inspections using aerial robots, also known as drones.
We specialize in performing inspections inside confined spaces, like storage tanks. Most of our clients are operating in the oil- and gas-sector, but Terra also offers its services to companies operating in the food- and beverage-sector, the power-sector and the chemical-sector. Our focus is on measuring the thickness of the tank walls. Terra has developed and patented the technology of measuring wall thickness using drones. Our services also include visual and thermal inspections. The collected inspection data by the drone is shared via a cloud-based 3D-model of the inspection object, which the client gets access to.
Using drones for inspections has various advantages. Firstly, the safety-aspect of the inspection get maximized. For example, there is no more need for working at heights. Secondly, the efficiency improves. The downtime significantly gets reduced when preforming inspections with drones. Finally, the collection of data improves in quantity and quality.
Terra Inspectioneering delivers certified inspection reports conformant to standards like API-653 and EEMUA-159.
Products & services

Xross1 Indoor Inspection Drone
Terra Xross1 is an innovative indoor drone system developed by Terra Drone Corporation specifically designed for confined space inspection and mapping. This advanced drone operates without relying on GPS, instead using LiDAR and a vision sensor for automatic position correction, making it ideal for challenging indoor environments including dusty and dark conditions. Terra Xross1 excels in various applications including ship inspections, chimney assessments, boiler examinations, tank inspections, underground mine mapping, and plant equipment surveys. The system includes Terra Xross1 Cloud for cloud-based data management, allowing users to associate captured images and videos with 3D data for intuitive management and team collaboration. This makes challenging indoor environments accessible while offering simplicity, safety, and affordability for industrial inspection needs.

UT Thickness Inspection
Terra Inspectioneering executes ultrasonic thickness (UT) measurements using drones. With the RoNik UT drone it is possible to execute steel thickness measurements at hard to reach places at height, such as storage tank walls, roofs and rafters. The UT drone is Terra's proprietary development and is based on patented technology that enables the drone to firmly and precisely press the UT probe against a surface. The drone has been specially developed for indoor use in industrial confined spaces and can be controlled in the presence of steel and concrete.
Cloud Reporting
All the collected inspection data is delivered via a safe and user friendly cloud portal. Your inspection data is never more than one mouseclick away. Create a breakdown of your object and structure inspection data according to this breakdown. Share inspection results with other departments, co-workers or suppliers without the hassle of big file transfers.

3D Modeling
Virtual reality meets industrial inspection: with Terra Inspectioneering's 3D modelling technology, inspection data is plotted on a virtual model so it is easy to position inspection data.

Visual Inspection
With the Elios "ball" drones Terra Inspectioneering operates, inspects and explores unreachable spaces. They can even be operated without the need of an operator in the same area.
