As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for the sale of our products and services and you offer technical solutions to our customers and your colleagues.

As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for the sale of our products and services and you offer technical solutions to our customers and your colleagues.
You will provide correctly prepared sales quotes within the requested period.
You will ensure a sustainable relationship with existing customers and you will prospect new customers and opportunities (new products, new markets, new regions, etc.).
You will follow the order files of suppliers, supervise the offers (projects) and will monitor the budget with associated objectives.
You will prepare the specifications for the construction of measuring installations on, amongst others, tankers.
You will maintain technical-commercial contacts with tank truck builders, terminal owners, storage companies, engineering agencies, construction workshops etc.
As a Sales Engineer you will proactively approach the market and report to the Sales and Engineering Manager.

You have a higher Technical-Commercial education or equivalent through experience.
Preferably you have a first successful experience in a technical-commercial position (in the petrochemical industry).
You are a creative, enthusiastic, extroverted and ambitious person who is also solution-oriented, decisive, result-oriented and flexible.
You can work both in a team and independently and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality. You are strong in (cost) efficient time management.
You are a commercially minded person who can convince customers of the added value of you and DCM EMBA and are willing to travel in the Benelux and Germany.
You have sufficient (oral) knowledge of the French language to dare to use this language in French-speaking relations.
You have a highly developed empathy (thinking along with the customer) and you are a good negotiator.
You can convert accumulated technical and commercial theoretical knowledge into practice.
