What you will do
As a Junior Site Supervisor, you support an experienced Site Supervisor in overseeing the construction and installation of tanks at client locations, working with a dedicated project team. Projects can range from building a single 2,000 m³ tank at a chemical plant in Norway to a large-scale project involving 20 tanks at an oil terminal in the Botlek or another major port.
Together with the Senior Site Supervisor, you are responsible for managing field technicians and coordinating the work of crane and transport contractors. In practice, you act as a working foreman, regularly applying your welding skills on site. In addition, you monitor the use of materials, equipment, and workforce capacity in collaboration with the Senior Site Supervisor and the Project Manager.
You coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications as well as quality and safety standards. In short, a challenging role that offers you the opportunity to grow into an experienced Site Supervisor.
Who you are
- You are currently working as a field service technician or welder, or you have recently completed a technical education.
- You hold a VCA-VOL certificate or are willing to obtain one.
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English.
- You are strong in planning and organizing and have strong problem-solving skills. You are customer- and results-oriented, able to handle stress, and work well in a team.
- You are willing to travel internationally on a regular basis and stay abroad for extended periods.
