Dexon Technology Europe Supports Storengy's Integrity Assessment

Dexon Technology Europe has successfully aided Storengy France in realizing its groundbreaking project.

The project aims to integrate new gases, including hashtag#hydrogen blends, into existing gas storage infrastructure.

Dexon Technology Europe, a subsidiary of Dexon Technology, supported the operation by completing four in-line inspection (hashtag#ILI) runs.

The project focused on a challenging 6”/8" pipeline in Hauts-de-France.

The line featured:

• Tight bends
• Thick pipe wall
• Dual diameters
• No traps

These conditions placed it firmly in the difficult-to-inspect category—requiring a tailored inspection strategy developed by Dexon and supported by the field expertise of our partner PSI Pipeline Services International.

Across four inspection runs, we addressed all major hashtag#pipelineintegrity threats:
• Metal Loss
• Axial & circumferential cracks
• Geometric threats (e.g., dents, ovalities)

A comprehensive feasibility study at Dexon’s test yard in Thailand enabled us to simulate actual hashtag#pipeline conditions and ensure first-run success—minimizing operational risk and maximizing data reliability.
