ELSONT primary & secondary seals

WE PROVIDE SEALS with the best available technology, with or without wax scrapers, normal or low profile to maximize your tank volume. Liquid mounted, mechanical shoe seals made of stainless steel or galvanized, vapour barrier fabrics made of PTFE, PU, neoprene even with anti-static properties assure the highest
quality, highest chemical and UV-resistance. Even huge rim spaces are no challenge for our seal systems. Pontoons will never be harmed or damaged. All our systems are fixed onto the floating roof up-stand or angle. Up to six different primary seals and secondary seals with a low profile are part of our portfolio.

PRIMARY SHOE SEALS
Systems with bolt-on counterweight shoe seals. To seal 200mm rim space. 300mm nominal rim spaces. Scissor type seals also with wax scrapers at the bottom of the shoe suitable for waxy crude services.

SECONDARY SEALS
WIPER SEAL based on metal plates with neoprene wiper tips and PU or PTFE vapour barrier fabrics. Plates are not bolted together. Support plates can fan out independently of each other.

LOWPROFILE SEALS are designed to provide secondary sealing for all floating roof applications and to increase your storage capacity due to its low construction height. Standard configured with Neoprene/Nitrile wiper tip and Teflon vapour barrier fabric.
