Matthew Barlow shares his life under lockdown in London. Matthew has been working for StocExpo for over 8 years.
What are your top tips for staying home?
Keep yourself nice and busy, there is always something to do to defeat the umbrella of boredom! I try and keep in contact with as many friends as I can and have regular virtual quizzes with my Family and friends. I also try to get out of the house when I can for a walk or for a run and explore the local area.
How are you helping the community?
Donating some of my shopping at the local supermarket for the food bank.
Are you doing any exercise?
I try and get out and run at least 3-4 times a week. My aim is to complete a 22 minute 5km run before this is over (currently at 26.20). I also end up doing a 12 mile walk now and again around South London.
What have you been baking?
Baking is not one of my strongest skills, but I have invented a cake called the Bubblalicious and it hasn’t made anyone ill just yet!
What are you currently watching?
Currently it feels like I only watch Microsoft teams, but when I get the chance, I do like a good old James Bond film! I will definitely be watching some German football when its back on this weeknd!
What are you reading?
BBC News seems to be my go to source for reading at the moment.
What are you most looking forward to?
Liverpool not winning the premier league, seeing all my family and friends, eating out, a holiday and Liverpool not winning the premier league.
