He has been working in the Maritime industry with bulk liquids for over 40 years, at sea, as a Master Mariner/Port Captain, and ashore, in senior positions in bulk liquid storage and shipping logistics. His previous employment includes 12 years with Odfjell/Odfjell Terminals as Vice President of Sales & Marketing in Europe and Asia. Also, latterly over 6 years with Eastport Maritime in Singapore as director of Special Projects. He has had hands-on experience in commercial storage, shipping and integrated logistic strategies and has worked worldwide with multi-national oil & chemical companies, oil and chemical traders, storage terminal operators, shipowners, port authorities, other maritime consultancies, and terminal investors/infrastructure funds.

His experience includes:

• Advisory services on the IMO 2020 bunker changes for Storage operators and shipowners.
• Projects & market studies on bulk liquid oil and chemical terminals and Logistic hubs around the world.
• Training for commercial operations for storage and shipping.
  His wealth of knowledge and practical experience on bulk liquid storage and transportation worldwide and his personal goal to remain at the cutting edge of the maritime industry makes him eminently suitable to chair todays session.
