Berend Paasman, Global Head of Logistics at DNB Bank, based out of London. Berend is globally responsible for DNB Bank’s port and terminal financing portfolio, which encompasses mostly the financing of private terminal operators in the container and liquid storage space. At DNB he has been involved in more than 30 terminal financings, including bank lending and capital market transactions. Over his career he has worked in transportation, shipping and infrastructure finance out of New York, London, Athens and Amsterdam. Berend is a Dutch national and a graduate of the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
