BOTAŞ to massively expand crude storage at Ceyhan

Turkey’s state-owned BOTAŞ is developing a major new tank farm at the port of Ceyhan, lifting crude oil storage capacity from about 1 million to 45 million barrels. The project, which will add 40 storage tanks in several phases through to 2030–2031, has been described by BOTAŞ leadership as a strategic step to strengthen Turkey’s energy security and its role in regional oil markets.
