Allied Biofuels secures deal for Central Asia’s first major biofuels refinery

Allied Biofuels has signed a Project Implementation Agreement with the government of Uzbekistan’s Khorezm region to develop Central Asia’s first large‑scale integrated biofuels refinery. Backed by Special Economic Zone status and long‑term tax and customs incentives, the project will produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), e‑SAF and renewable diesel at industrial scale, powered by a multi‑gigawatt renewable energy and green hydrogen system. The initiative is expected to support new jobs, technology transfer and a high‑value clean‑energy hub in Khorezm.
