Emerson has formed a strategic collaboration with Equinor to supply advanced measurement and analytical technologies, plus lifecycle services, across Equinor’s global offshore and onshore operations.

The partnership is designed to improve operational performance, extend the life of existing fields and increase recovery rates. It will also support greater standardisation as Equinor accelerates field development and optimises production.

The companies have worked together for more than 40 years. Equinor already uses Emerson technologies including subsea multiphase flow meters, downhole monitoring, valves, emissions management, safety systems and control and asset-management solutions.

The expanded agreement builds on existing digitalisation work and supports Equinor’s long-term objectives, including its Norwegian Continental Shelf 2035 plans. Emerson’s measurement technologies are expected to strengthen production reliability, efficiency and operational safety across Equinor’s portfolio.
