About us
Terra Inspectioneering started as RoNik Inspectioneering on May 13th, 2016, and has since built a strong reputation for inspections using drones. From our base in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, we specialize in inspections inside confined spaces such as storage tanks.
Most of our clients operate in the oil and gas sector, but we also work with companies in the food and beverage, power and chemical sectors. Our focus is on measuring tank wall thickness, using drone technology that we developed and patented ourselves. Our RoNik UT drone presses the ultrasonic probe firmly and precisely against the surface, even at height on tank walls, roofs and rafters. We also carry out visual and thermal inspections. All inspection data is shared with the client through a cloud-based 3D model of the inspected object.
Inspecting with drones brings clear advantages. Safety is maximized, because there is no longer any need to work at height. Efficiency improves and downtime is significantly reduced. The data we collect also improves in both quantity and quality. We deliver certified inspection reports in accordance with standards such as API-653 and EEMUA-159.
Alongside our inspection services, we sell the Nolvis X1. It is an indoor inspection drone for confined, GPS-denied spaces such as tanks, boilers, silos and cargo holds. With its high-quality camera and 3D scanning, the Nolvis X1 lets companies bring confined space inspections in-house, at a fraction of the cost of comparable systems. Our growing network of European distributors provides local demos and support.
