I joined VTTI in September 2020 as (Global) Head of Sustainability following 25 years of experience as an Industrial Hygienist, Managing Consultant HSSE, Director of HSSE & Sustainably and General manager. Having worked in Industry most of my life I have been part of some major transitions not in the least on Sustainability/ESG and Energy Transition. I strongly believe in the transformative role of Industry in actually making our societies more sustainable but also believe that sitting on the sidelines will not work. I hold a Masters degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University.
