Welcome to the team, Stacey!

What was your first week like?

My first week was really exciting and very tiring at the same time! I loved starting a new job and getting my head around how everything works but at the same time it was a lot of information to take in in a short amount of time. Now, two weeks in, I’m still learning a lot and I’m really enjoying it!

What are you most looking forward to working with us?

I’m looking forward to learning all about the portfolio and the industry. Having no other work experience everything is new to me so I’m excited to get my hands dirty and try new things (and hopefully not make too many mistakes). Also really looking forward to team drinks after work so I can really get to know the team.

What is your favourite and least favourite thing about working from home?

What I loved about working from home is that I can spend more time with my boyfriend during the day, like having lunch together rather than a quick catch up over text. However, starting a new job is much easier when you’re all in the same office, it makes learning much easier. I also love having a reason to leave the house, it makes coming home much nicer too.

What are your top tips for staying coming back into the office?

I actually have to remind myself to put on make-up and wear something other than sweatpants and a t-shirt, but I feel like a real person again so it’s been lovely to get dressed up again. I’m also making the most of meeting new people and getting to know them. It’s been really nice to be around other people again!

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time I love a Netflix binge, I’m currently watching Good Girls and I’m obsessed! I also love to cook and to bake. I make killer sausage rolls so that’s something my team can look forward to when we’re all in the office again!
