XFuel has secured €4.1 million in financial support from Catalonia’s Nuclear Transition Fund, administered by the regional development agency Acció.

The grant will help finance the construction of a new fuel manufacturing plant in Catalonia. The project is intended to support economic diversification and job creation in areas expected to be affected by the planned decommissioning of the Ascó and Vandellós nuclear generating stations.
