    2. ST-15C-WX Series Overfill Prevention Control Units for Storage Tanks

ST-15C-WX Series Overfill Prevention Control Units for Storage Tanks

The Scully ST-15C-WX series multiple-point liquid-level detection control units are available in three through twelve channel models. The ST-15C-WX is commonly used to provide overfill protection, high level warning, low level warning and/or individual pump and valve control functions. They are well suited for multiple fixed storage tank and transport tank applications where individual display and/or output control is required. The output control function may be reversed to alarm for a dry sensor condition rather than a wet sensor condition for low level warning. The ST-15C-WX enclosure includes individual red indicator lamps that light when a sensor is wetted, a power indicator lamp, an alarm acknowledge push button and alarm test push button. Once a sensor alarm is acknowledged the alarm output circuit is reset, however, the indicator lamp remains lit until the sensor is dry again. ST-15C-WX series controllers incorporate Scully’s unique and exclusive Dynacheck® circuitry when connected to Scully sensors. Using pulsed signals to simulate a wet or “unsafe” condition, the monitor automatically and continuously checks the entire system operation; controller, wiring, connectors and sensors for faults thirty (30) times per second. If liquid comes in contact with the sensor tip, or in the unlikely event a fault occurs, the pulsed signals cease and the monitor signals an audible alarm and/or controls pumps and valves for immediate shutdown. Compatible liquid level sensors for the ST-15C-WX employ solid state thermistor and Instant-On optic sensing technology. Sensors and holders constructed of aluminum or stainless steel for sensing a wide variety of liquid products including petroleum and chemicals are available.

    3. ST-35 - Multi-Point Controller

      ST-35 - Multi-Point Controller

The ST-35C is for use with Scully 5-Wire Optic Sensors, Model SP-FU series. It can monitor up to twelve of these sensors in a “series” signal path. If any one of the connected sensors senses liquid, the ST-35C will respond to this “wet” condition; output relay contact opens and red light turns on. Although its typical application is monitoring of sensors mounted on multi-compartment vehicles, it can also be used for high level detection in storage tanks (tank farms). One relay output contact is provided, which opens if any sensor detects liquid. ST-35C is also used with vehicles equipped with Scully’s IntelliCheck® series or Load Anywhere® Overfill Prevention Monitors. It interfaces with 5-Wire optic socket(s) on these vehicles. The Control Unit has an explosion proof enclosure for mounting in locations that are classified as hazardous. For additional ground proving options, the system works in conjunction with the Scully Groundhog Self-Proving Earthing Verification System

    4. Stainless steel storage tank

      Stainless steel storage tank

GPI is specialist on the field of storage tanks, no job is too big for us (or too small). We build tanks with a capacity from one to up to ten million litres. Small storage tanks to about 500 m3 - with a diameter up to six meters - are built in our two factories in Lopik. Delivery may take place by water or land. Tanks with diameters ranging from six to twenty-five meters are produced in our area by the Lek River, where they are waiting for transportation by water. If transportation is not possible, then we can build tanks on your premises. For the production of such big tanks we use the efficient Coil Building system which can provide a great quality. First think, then build When you order a new storage tank, we will be happy to help you with the choices, which will make your tank resistant for the future. You may wish to cool or heat the stored product once, or maybe to protect it with a nitrogen layer. How does the cleaning look like, what are the possible restrictions in height, the bottom surface or permits? Or maybe it would be more convenient to store your product in two stages, for example in a double tank. It's about an important investment. We are pleased to plan along with you and to take care for your new tank not only to meet your current requirements and standards (construction), but also for it to be suitable for your possible needs in the future.

    5. Stainless Steel Storage Tank

      Stainless Steel Storage Tank

Gpi produces all kinds of storage tanks in all sorts of sizes for all applications and industries imaginable. This range spans high-quality finished 500 litre vessels for pharmaceutical end products, to 15,000 m3 tanks for drinking water or the storage of semi-finished products in the chemical industry. For storing high-quality products Gpi manufactures stainless steel storage tanks from 500 l to 15,000 m³. Depending on the destination, we can build the tanks in our factory in Lopik, in our factory in Groot-Ammers, or construct them on-location. We produce high-grade tanks and storage tanks up to a diameter of 6 m at our Lopik facility. From there, we can reach most locations quickly by road. If the tank cannot be transported by road, we often create storage tanks at our location in Groot Ammers. This factory is located right on the banks of the river Lek, allowing us to transport the tanks via water. If transporting the tanks to you is not an option, we can also build tanks measuring up to 30 metres in diameter and 30 metres in height directly on-location. For this, we often use our Coil Building system, which ensures highly-efficient manufacture and high-quality tanks. Safety is of the highest importance for tanks of any size produced by any construction method, both during manufacture and use. Tanks can be set up according to all the relevant standards, such as Eurocode 3, EN 14015, ASME and API 650. All technical designs, such as heated/cooled tanks, double bottoms, domed roofs, or double-walled tanks are possible.

    7. Static Earthing Protection for Trucks

      Static Earthing Protection for Trucks

Static electricity can be generated during handling of non-conducting liquids and powders. The need of a proper grounding for trucks can not be underestimated to improve safety in loading/unloading processes. The IECEx / ATEX / SIL2 Earth-Rite® RTR systems from Newson Gale verify the integrity of the real earth, checks if the grounding clamp is connected with a truck, and checks the connection between the truck and the verified earth. The IEC60079-32-1 describes exactly what to do to safely ground trucks in flammable and explosive (ATEX) environments. Newson Gale designs systems which meet the strictest standards and guidelines. Come to our booth for a free handbook summarizing these guidelines, or for more information.
