      WaterSens

The fiber-optic level measurement systems from Polytec / Opsens Solutions are based on pressure measurement using white-light interferometry technology. The measurement point is located at the end of the fiber. The WaterSens solution for liquid level monitoring can be used in nearly any environment and delivers reliable results for decades. The “Plug & Forget” design means the sensors can operate permanently, without regular maintenance or servicing. The main features are: • Robust design • High long-term precision, no drift over time • “Plug & Forget,” maintenance-free for decades of continuous operation • Remote operation • Suitable for hazardous environments, ATEX-compliant • No danger from lightning strikes due to electromagnetic immunity • Embedded optical temperature sensor for real-time compensation • ±1 mm Measuring accuracy The measurement principle is simple: the liquid level is calculated from the hydrostatic pressure exerted by the height of the liquid due to gravity. This pressure is determined using a patented technology based on optical Fabry-Pérot interferometry. This technology, known as WLPI (White Light Polarization Interferometry), operates using the phase modulation of light — the most sensitive method for fiber-optic measurements.

We design, fabricate, install, repair and maintain storage facilities providing a wide variety of services and cost-effective solutions to key industries including refineries, terminals, depots, power plants and more.

A 40-year experience enabling us to provide a full range of integrated services, from feasibility studies to turnkey projects execution. Close and friendly relations with our customers, undisputed quality of our products, stringent Health, Safety and Environment policies, knowledge of local rules of countries where we execute our projects, as well as integration with local communities: these are the key-factors of our success! Our services: At our offices, a skilled team of engineers and experienced technicians collect data, calculate and design activities to develop efficient production and work methods for every project, in close collaboration with our procurement department, which provides lists of trusted suppliers and appropriate, innovative materials and latest equipment. At our workshops – occupying a total surface of 63.500 sqm, whereof 13.500 sqm are covered – our trained workers implement our engineers’ studies, following the projects from fabrication to logistics, thanks to sophisticated machines and dedicated areas and personnel. After shipping from workshop, starts the construction activity including site preparation, transportation of construction materials and equipment, and erection of the storage facilities by our qualified manpower and by accurately selected subcontractors, using our own equipment. Our solutions: REFURBISHMENT & REPAIR: We refurbish storage facilities with all new material, restoring to original or better working order and appearance. We also repair storage facilities, restoring them to good working order, fixing, or improving damaged condition. EPC PROJECTS: PARESA is a company that certainly does not deny its origins as tank manufacturer, but that has also grown as a multi-discipline single source contractor for its clients in several business sectors like Oil & Gas, chemical, petrochemical and power, reducing interdisciplinary interfaces while maintaining a relentless focus on safety and an uncompromising standard of quality.
