Chane Completes Infrastructure Upgrade

Chane Terminal Botlek has completed a major infrastructure upgrade for a leading customer, significantly boosting the storage, handling, and logistics of base oils.

At the core of the upgrade is the newly developed tank pit 16, purpose-built for speed, safety, and efficiency. The site now supports 5 new base oil grades, features 6 pipelines to the jetties, additional pumping capacity, and a state-of-the-art truck loading station.

The improvements are especially clear at loading bay 17, where smart technology, including license plate recognition, illuminated loading arms, and full integration with the terminal management system, enables the simultaneous loading of up to three trucks.
